The purpose of the Community Involvement Committee is to provide the employees of St. Joe Hospitality with opportunities to give back to the community as well as raise public awareness of featured charities in our area.
We have a total of 720 Associates and we are looking for individuals who are interested in joining this committee.
The levels of participation include:
Active service – Working with causes that the committee selects by donating time, talent, or money. Some examples include organizing, setting up and assisting women in a clothing drive for underprivileged women who are job seekers
Passive service – Donating food, clothing or money in lieu of doing actual work. A perfect example is a school supply drive for Ponce DeLeon Elementary School.
CIC does a number of varied fun events and activities throughout the year, serving a wide population in Walton and Bay Counties. Our current projects largely benefit children and our intention is to make a difference while bringing associates together in fun and service.
CIC started in 2015 and began with a need and concern to have a personal responsibility to our community to support growth and goodwill as an organization; the Community Involvement Committee has been placed to organize and monitor our combined efforts ( Shark’s Tooth, Camp Creek, WaterSound Origins, The Pearl, WaterColor Inn and Resort, and WaterSound Beach Club)
This year we have decided to concentrate our efforts and partner with Habitat for Humanity Bay County & WestonWood Ranch.
We are proud to announce our commitment to provide volunteers and support to assist these organizations.
